January 2016

Since we live in neighbourhoods with homes built pre and post World War 1 into the early 1900’s and before World War ll, needless to say, some of these homes are pretty crappy.   Toronto being the brick city of Canada, we have a generous supply of brick homes with brick foundations.   Although really well built in the 1920’s and 1930’s, some homes are beginning to show their wear and tear.  Some homes are extremely cold in the winter; I guess Canadians were a lot tougher back then.

We are almost a week into 2016 with less than 360 days left.  This year is a leap year so do something special and enjoy the extra day.  As the years go quickly by I find that I am filled with gratitude and appreciate each day, however, I realize this is just because I’m getting older and if I was 22 yrs old, I would just be focused on me.  They say that hind sight is 20/20 so lay a good foundation and build on it for your future.  (So if you need your basement done, I can offer a few referrals)

Real Estate values double every ten years, and the Toronto Market is definitely on course.
