HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

On Wednesday April 15th 2015, I was able to attend the work site at 960 Brimley Road, Scarborough, ON where we are building 15 townhomes for families in need.    The experience was very fulfilling and a lot of hard work.  It was a good reminder for me, why I didn’t get into construction like my Dad, and prefer only to sell homes and help people on that level.

Completion of the home is set for end of summer 2015, so they are literally months away from leaving city housing and getting their own home. It is a great organization and I am proud of our company REMAX HALLMARK and the generous support from the volunteers and those who choose to donate to such a powerful charity.  You can always donate because there will always be homes to build and people who want to live in them.  https://secure.e2rm.com/registrant/FundraisingPage.aspx?registrationID=2750944&langPref=en-CA#&panel1-3

Many of us do not see the affect that we have on people and how their children benefit.  I can honestly say, first hand, growing up in Canada, that I would not have achieved great success without the generous support and encouragement from complete strangers, family and friends.  As a child you’re  grateful for the help and as an adult you have a great desire to be successful and to one day return the favour  to make a difference in someone’s life.
